St Patricks Day March 17th, is coming up soon so come to the Trail Days Cafe & ;Museum here in Council Grove, kansas, to enjoy our Scotch-Irish foods as the early settlers from Scotland and Ireland might have prepared for themselves here on the Kansas Prairie. We have homemade Bangers or poached fish with yummy colcannon (cooked potatoes,onions,and cabbage mashed together), garden greens mixed with carrots and tomatoes and sprinkled with dried dill and served with a tomato-bacon dressing on the side, and our wonderful warm Irish Soda bread served with real butter.
